Wounds Australia is pleased to announce two recent member appointments.

Associate Professor Christina Parker of Queensland University of Technology has joined the Wounds Australia Board filling a casual vacancy. A/Prof Parker is Chair of the Wounds Australia Research Committee, a respected researcher in the wound care world and a longstanding Wounds Australia member.

“I'm delighted to join the Wounds Australia Board, after many years of membership of Wounds Australia and service to its committees,” A/Prof Parker said. “I'm looking forward to working with my fellow directors on ensuring a sustainable and impactful organisational future.”

Dr Kathleen Finlayson, also of QUT, has joined Professor Keryln Carville as Wounds Australia’s representatives on the Venous Leg Ulcer Guideline Committee. Dr Finlayson replaces Judith Barker, who served in the position for many years. We thank Judith for her longstanding commitment and welcome Dr Finlayson, an esteemed researcher and practitioner, aboard.

These positions are voluntary and we thank both for their generous support.
