Wounds Australia and Flavour Creations announce partnership
Wednesday, 19 March 2025

Wounds Australia is pleased to announce a new partnership with Flavour Creations, a leader in dysphagia management and targeted nutrition. This exciting collaboration aims to raise awareness about chronic wounds and highlight the significant role nutrition plays in the chronic wound healing process.

As part of the partnership, Flavour Creations will feature a link to Wounds Australia's educational resources on the packaging of its Argie Wound Care product range. This initiative ensures that vital information on chronic wound prevention and management reaches a wider yet targeted audience, including healthcare professionals and individuals affected by chronic wounds.

In addition to raising awareness, Flavour Creations will donate to Wounds Australia a portion of the proceeds from every can of Argie Wound Care sold. This funding will support Wounds Australia's ongoing research, advocacy and educational efforts, advancing the national campaign to improve wound care across Australia.

A shared commitment to education

Wounds Australia CEO Jeff Antcliff said: "We're excited to partner with Flavour Creations, an innovative company that shares our commitment to improving wound care across Australia. This collaboration goes beyond traditional corporate membership, as we continually seek new ways to provide value to our partners while raising awareness about the importance of wound prevention and education."

Flavour Creations CEO, Bernadette Eriksen, also expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership: "I'm thrilled to be partnering with Wounds Australia and supporting their drive for wound awareness and education. After witnessing the severe impact of chronic wounds for decades, we developed Argie to provide targeted nutritional support that makes a real difference in the healing process. The name 'Argie' is a play on its key ingredient, L-arginine, an essential amino acid known for its role in wound healing. Through our partnership with Wounds Australia, we're ensuring the right nutritional solutions are accessible to those who need them most, supporting their recovery journey."

Wound healing through nutrition

Flavour Creations' newest product, Argie Wound Care, is designed to support individuals in the wound healing process. It contains key nutrients such as L-arginine, zinc and vitamin C. By including a link to Wounds Australia's resources on the packaging, the partnership amplifies the message that nutrition is a critical factor in the prevention and healing of chronic wounds.

Building awareness and supporting research

The partnership will enhance public understanding of chronic wound care and provide vital funding for Wounds Australia's research and educational efforts. Part-proceeds from every can of Argie Wound Care sold will support the national drive to improve wound care standards and patient outcomes.

Together, Wounds Australia and Flavour Creations aim to equip individuals, healthcare professionals and the wider public with the knowledge and resources to improve wound healing.
