Global 'A World Without Skin Tears Day' is just around the corner and there's a very special learning session coming up to mark the day! 

On 10 April, the International Skin Tear Awareness Panel (ISTAP) – an official Wounds Australia affiliate – is playing host to some of the world's best experts in skin tear research and practice. 

Speakers include ISTAP President Professor Karen Ousey of the University of Huddersfield, President-Elect of the Canadian Pressure Injury Panel Dr Kimberley LeBlanc, and Wounds Australia Fellow Dr Jenny Prentice. Topics range from paediatric skin tears to case studies on implementing best practice through skin tear programs, plus development and validation of the ISTAP Data Collection Tool – and much more! 

The event is free to attend and timings vary depending on your location – an 8pm start on Australia's west coast and a 10pm start in the east.
