Thank you to everyone who attended our professional learning in Alice Springs and Darwin in late June. 

Wounds Australia member and expert wound clinician Hayley Ryan delivered some powerful wound care training to packed rooms of local clinicians, sharing practical techniques in workshop-style sessions and evidence-based insights into best practice. 

And the learning went both ways. Our CEO Jeff Antcliff travelled with the team, meeting local organisations working with some of the most vulnerable people in the country and hearing about some of the incredible challenges these clinicians – and the Australians they serve – face, and forging enduring bonds. 

This tour was such a success, we're committing to visiting these amazing communities every year. 

While he was there, Jeff helped spread the word about our exclusive research into consumer knowledge of wound care, highlighting some of the common misconceptions and barriers preventing people from seeking advice. He and Hayley spoke to the NT News and, pictured, to ABC Darwin.
